A peek at whats coming this weekend:

Rock on

My newest scrapbook layout:
This LO was kinda hard to bring everything together, simply because Most of the layouts I make are more muted colors, like browns and greens. But I like how this one turned out.  I like the little monsters, even if they don't have anything to do with rock climbing, lol!

Have you scrapbooked anything lately?
xo, Katie

P.S. ( I have some exciting news for tomorrow!!)

Bike trip + October Sponsor spots

So as some of you know, My family and I will be cycling the Atlantic coast from Bar Harbor, Maine to Key West, Florida in Sept 2011.
This is an ambitious endeavor that we are greatly looking forward to doing. The trip is roughly 2600 miles by bike.
In order to raise funds for the trip, We will be attending craft fairs and such, selling our crafts.
My mom, Taylor and I will be making baby quilts, and crayon bags(cute quilted bags that will hold coloring books with slots for individual crayons) to raise money as well. IF You want a custom baby quilt, We would be happy to do it. The cost would be dependent on fabric choices, just email me. :)
The coloring book bags are $20 and make a great birthday or Christmas book for the young artist in your family!

I am also going to be selling sponsor spots on my blog to raise money! For $5 you can have your button/widget on my blog for the month of October, AND a feature post on my blog! I average about 2,000 hits a month, that is alot of traffic coming your way!
The newly improved punkprojects will include sponsor features each month, the popular Make-it Mondays DIY round-up, more papercrafting, sewing, and repurposing tutorials, and more inspiration!
Purchase your spot for the month of October Here.

As the trip gets closer we will be setting up a blog to keep everyone updated on our progress. We've set up a map with our route, and have been putting push pins where we are going. We are driving from TX to Maine, Riding our bikes from Maine to Key West, Florida, and then Driving back to TX.

(I love maps)

Mini Album Tutorial

Hello... I decided to share a quick little tutorial on how to do a quick little album like the one I did here

Supplies:
Paper, either a stapler or a sewing machine.

1. Cut out your album, Mine was 12" x 6"
2. Fold one of the short edges over.

3. cut your pages to fit inside your album. I cut mine 5" 1/2" square. line them up under the folded edge of your album:
and sew along the edge to bind them. Or, If you dont have a sewing machine, You can just staple it. I just prefer sewing. :)
Fold the right side of your album over, This is the cover. You should be able to tuck the edge under the flap on the left to keep it closed:
And decorate the cover!
I hop eyou enjoyed this tutorial, please, please send me a link to pictures if you do this, I would love to see it!
