I made this cute journal from an old bicycle inner tube- It was inspired by these lovely journals I saw on Flickr. It wasn't hard to make, But my sewing machine didn't really like sewing through rubber, so the stitching isn't so great.
Now I just have to make myself actually use this journal. maybe. I'm not so great about using notebooks/journals, But I *love* making them. :)

Cool idea! I can't imagine my sewing maching taking kindly to rubber either but I love the idea of upcycling old tires. Looks great!
