Create a Watercolor Valentine's Card with Mou Saha

Hi everyone, Mou Saha here. I’m a contributing writer for Creating Keepsakes magazine and here today to share a Valentine’s Day card.

I used cream cardstock, one of the newest stencils by The Crafter’s Workshop, and watercolor pencils by Faber Castell, pen, sewing machine, Washi tape and some ink. Let me walk you through the simple steps.

Trace the stencil design along the left edge of a 5.5”x4.25” card with pen.

Color around the traced shapes with various shades of watercolor pencils.

Blend colors with wet paintbrush. When dry, add a strip of Washi tape. Write sentiment above the tape.
Machine stitch below sentiment. Splatter a little bit of ink to finish.

Hope you enjoyed my little tutorial!

Mou, Thank you so much for doing a guest post! Your card is beautiful and so inspiring! -Katie
