I made this layout a couple of weeks ago, and I'm just now getting around to posting it here on the blog. ; )
For the mixed media background, I covered a 12"x12" piece of paper with a heavy gel medium from Liquitex, and as it was drying I stamped a few spirographs into it, which you can see in the next picture.
Once the gel was dry, I painted/spray misted over it to give it color. Then I just had to wait for that to dry and scrapbook on top!
I didn't have any letter stickers I liked, so I doodled my little Ice Cream Crazy title.
Have you done any scrapbooking lately? I just finished packing up all of my supplies so I won't be doing any more for a couple of weeks until we get moved.
