Autumn Leaves Layout

For Thanksgiving, we took a trip and went Camping in Arkansas for the weekend. The leaves there were so many different colors! After we got done setting up camp, I started picking out some pretty leaves to take home.

By the time I scrapbooked this layout (last week) my leaves had gotten a bit crunchy so I'm not sure how long this layout will last. Any ideas on how to preserve the leaves? I will put the page in a page protector of course, so maybe that will keep them from getting beat up.
 I used Faber-Castell Gelatos along the side of my picture for a little more color, Faber-Castell PITT Pens to doodle the leaves and I used my white Posca marker to doodle the swirls.
