Document Life Workshop- What I Like About You

Today's challenge at Document Life Workshop is "What I Like About You..." I knew I wanted to use a photo of my Mom and I but I also wanted to play in my art journal, so this is sorta a scrapbook layout/art journal hybrid.


For the background, I started with gelli prints- I just glued the right side down, but I cut the left one up into strips and staggered them. Then I added a bit of hot pink gelato around the edges. A few scrapbooking embellishments, outlining with gesso, washi tape, doodling and journaling and I was done. Oh, and a few drops of gold Heidi Swapp mist.
