This is a project in my Back-to-School Lisa Frank series!
What have I been doing lately? "Lisa Franking" ALL THE THINGS! I'm obsessed, but it's okay, because I'm making all of my school supplies way cute.
Last week I shared 3 DIY Lisa Frank inspired notebooks and today I am sharing these Cheetah Print File Folders! They started out as solid, boring file folders and turned into magical cheetah folders!

Supplies:
Solid File Folders
Ruler
Pencil
Acrylic Paints in Rainbow Colors + Black and White
1" Paint Brush
#2 Paint Brush
1. Start by drawing diagonal stripes every 2" across your file folder.

2. Next squirt your rainbow paints onto a palette, and paint each stripe a different color, going in order of the rainbow.
While the paint is still wet, use a clean brush to lightly blend the edges of each color into each other so they're gradient.

3. Once the rainbow is dry, use a #2 paint brush and either black or white paint to paint on cheetah print!
This may look tough, but they're really just circular squiggles! I promise it's not hard, just paint on little lumpy circles with a dot in the middle here and there as shown below.

They match the Hunter Cheetah notebook SO WELL.
Do you prefer the black or white print? I think I actually prefer white.
