It is the Season of Contrast over at *Get Messy. So for the next few weeks I'm working in this handmade journal.

This was week 5 in the Season of Contrast- only 1 more week! These always go by so fast.
One of the prompts by Lauren was about Silence, so here is my page inspired by that.
I love silence, especially the type of absolute silence you get when you are out in the middle of nowhere and there is no road noise, or electricity hum, or anything.
The left page is washi tapes and paper, the right page is high flow acrylic paint.
You all know I love painting galaxies and dream of space, so this page is sort of about an alternate reality me. Where I'm not from this world.
My favorite part of that page? The little astronaut stickers I got from Stickii club.
