It is the Season of Color at *Get Messy. So for the next few weeks I'm working in this handmade journal.
*Get Messy Art Journal is an art journaling program that is a school, art playground and family. We are a group of like minded art journalers who have come together under this art form to learn, share, practice our skills and push past our creative limits with hopes to inspire. This week I spent a lot of time working on my upcoming course at Big Picture Classes, and experimenting in my Pen + Ink journal, but I did find a little bit of time to work in my current art journal.
My first page is definitely influenced by the Pen + Ink class and Julia's work. It's a super simple but fun page.
My second page for the week is a take on the quote “When I haven’t any blue I use red.” by Pablo Picasso. I however changed it to fit me a little bit, as I love pink and green.
I painted the pink girl in my sketchbook this week, but for this page I scanned her into my computer and altered the colors in photoshop, then printed out 2 copies to use here in my journal.
