Hey y'all! Today those of us on the Tombow Design Team are teaming up with Lawn Fawn's Design Team to show you some awesome ways to use Tombow and Lawn Fawn products! Lawn Fawn makes the cutest stamps so they pair up perfectly with Dual Brush Pens!
You may have landed on my post from Lynnette's blog, but if not, start at the beginning of the hop here.
At the bottom of my post, you'll find the lineup for the rest of the hop - make sure you check out everyone's awesome projects! And don't forget to visit the Tombow blog to enter to win some fantastic prizes from Tombow and Lawn Fawn! Happy hopping!
I'm sharing with you how to use stamps to create a fun repeated design, perfect for cards!
Supplies:
- Aloha Clear Stamps
- Duh-Nuh Clear Stamps
- Dual Brush Pens
- MONO Adhesive+ Permanent
- Foam Tabs
- Acrylic Stamp Block
- White Cardstock
- Black Permanent Ink
- Misc. Card Making Embellishments
Step 1. Cut your cardstock to fit on your card.
Step 2. Start with your largest stamp design and stamp it randomly around your cardstock using permanent black ink.
I stamped the pineapple and the shark around on my cardstock.
Step 3. Next take your smaller stamps and fill in the areas between the larger stamped design.
You can make it a little more full like my shark card or leave a little more white space like my pineapple card.
For my pineapple card I actually used some of the bubbles from the Duh-nuh stamp set!
Step 4. Next color in your stamped design using Dual Brush Pens! For tips on coloring in stamped designs with these markers, check out this post.
Step 5. Adhere your new patterned paper design onto your card front!
I also added a few more paper embellishments to the front. I also stamped a shark onto a separate piece of cardstock, cut him out and adhered him with foam tabs so that he has a 3D effect!
